Clear background people, keep your subject

Remove incidental background people

The preset targets bystanders behind the main foreground subject, then reconstructs the parts of the scene they covered. It asks to keep the subject recognizable, the original crop and the overall colour. It does not cut the subject out to a transparent background.

Reconstruction is generated, not observed

Edges, repeated textures, perspective and lighting can look wrong. The uncovered area is an AI guess rather than a record of the original place. Do not use this edited image as evidence of a real scene, including in news, insurance, legal or dispute contexts.

One photo edit at a time

The result is one still image. This preset is for incidental background people, not for removing the foreground subject or making unrelated edits. Use Image Editor for a specific broader change, or Background Remover to isolate a subject on transparent PNG.

Use a photo you have the rights to edit and check every rebuilt area before sharing.

Questions

Can it remove the main person from a photo?
This preset is for incidental people in the background. It asks to retain the foreground subject. For a different change, describe it in Image Editor.
Can I use the result as proof of what happened?
No. AI invents the area behind the removed people. The edited photo is unsuitable as a truthful scene record for news, insurance, legal or dispute use.
What if the rebuilt background looks wrong?
That can happen at edges, repeated patterns, perspective or shadows. Review the output and try another source photo or generation if needed; it remains an edited image.
